This is a condensed story of how we were affected and impacted. The Florida Keys were just a small portion of the devastation that this storm caused. We suffered significant loss in this storm, but so many people and places suffered so much more. Having only witnessed these events from a television viewer point of view, dealing with one first hand is something we will never take lightly again. We have always tried to help those affected in the past, but after seeing how that help is appreciated and needed we will do our best to increase help we can do for others as weather events will always be a part of life.
